Now for today’s Holiday Craftacular blogger, Becky!

Welcome back to the third day of our Holiday Craftacular! I’m Becky and I blog at The Dempster Logbook. I write from the heart for those who want real life encouragement. I also create DIY tutorials for people who love the idea of DIY and creating their own beautiful things, but don’t own a garage full of fancy power tools. I left teaching to stay at home with my kids, help with the farm, and grow my blog. Today I’m so excited to share with you a tour of our farm home decorated for fall.

First up is a look at our front porch.  I pulled mostly found items from around our farm for the porch area.  Old doors for a backdrop.  Mums planted in galvanized buckets.  And a bucket full of pears for our tree.

The piano mantle was decorated with items that all fit the specific colors I was looking for. Browns, whites, and neutrals, with a pop of red. I stacked old books and a velvet pumpkin. The vases were filled with picks of cotton blooms and magnolia leaves. I also used cut pieces of birch wood, wooden thimbles and a brass trumpet.

Last up is a look at the dining room table. I placed a simple green metal basket in the center of the table. Inside the container I wrapped a cotton bloom garland, and added a couple of small orange gourds.
