There’s been some exciting things happening behind the scenes on the blog lately. Today’s post happens to be one of those things. Recently, I started contributing to Hometalk, an extremely helpful website where you can find amazing DIY ideas for improving your home and garden. Millions of homeowners, bloggers and professionals use Hometalk to share their tips and experience with one another.
I was completely flattered when the lovely folks at Hometalk contacted me to curate a board featuring “Chair upcycles” after seeing my 1st post on their site (see here).
Here’s a peek of the wonderful projects I found on Hometalk:
You can click on the above graphic or here to check out all the chairs (in detail) that I added to this board.
I love each of the 16 upcycled chairs I selected for various reasons. However, if I had to choose 4 that matched up most to my style, I’d select the following:
1) I just love the shape of cane back chairs. Visit Our Lake Life‘s project on Hometalk here.
2. There’s turquoise and yellow in this chair. Of course, I love it! 🙂 Visit My Passion for Decor‘s project on Hometalk here.
3. I love how this chair looks like it came straight out of a Restoration Hardware catalog. Visit The Weathered Door‘s project on Hometalk here.
4) Naturally, I drooled over this beau-tee-fully reupholstered chair! Love the ornate details of the chair and the fabric used. Visit SASInterriors/Jenna Burger Design‘s project on Hometalk here.
I hope you’ve enjoyed looking through some of my favorite picks. If you’re new to Beauteeful Living, welcome and thank you for stopping by! I would love to have you join me on this creative journey by subscribing here:
BIG THANKS to Hometalk for the opportunity and honor of curating this fun board!! I’m so excited that these wonderful chair upcycles will be shared in Hometalk’s upcoming newsletter. There is so much talent out there!
OH…here’s the chair that I upcycled in case you missed my post from the other week:
Lovely readers: Do you have a favorite upcycled chair out of the ones featured here? Don’t forget to like, share, or pin this post. You guys are the best!
Until next week (lots of fun stuff ahead), have an amazing day! Xoxo, Tee. 🙂
I did two chairs a while back but, I have cats and already need to redo the upholstery. Love all the great examples of color combos. I’d love to find a few more and have a full dining table of pretty mismatched wood chairs.
Gorgeous chairs! I would love to find something as pretty as that cane back chair one day… I’ll be on the hunt! 🙂
Love it.. I learn so much from your blog.
Thanks so much for your feedback, Kelli! Glad to hear that 🙂
Great job on the board. It’s hard to pick a fave. I’m a chair fanatic. Will be clipping this.
Thanks, Leilani!
I love all of those chairs, I wish I was talented enough to get into decor and upholstery. My mother-in-law has so many gems in her house, and is fairly talented when it comes to refurbishing vintage pieces. I’m definitely going to send her in the direction of your site 🙂
Thanks Susan! I bet you’re more talented than you give yourself credit for.
I love rescuing furniture! i just rehabbed a corner cabinet – my biggest piece yet!
Sounds like a fun project, Amanda! Would love to see how it came out! 🙂
This is my first visit to your site. I love these chairs! I’ve always wanted to redo some older chairs I inherited and as well, I’d love to be able to learn how to recover chairs that I might find at a garage sale, etc. I can wait to get started!
Thanks for stopping by, Melanie! Hometalk will be a great place to search tutorials on how to recover the old chairs you inherited. Good luck on that project!
