Over the years, we’ve accumulated a number of Halloween decorative items for the indoors. That said, I tried not to go crazy this season with purchasing more items. Fortunately I limited my purchases because as you will see in this post, my mantel is pretty complete. Any more would be considered clutter.
Here is my interpretation of the Halloween mantel in our home:
For 2 years now, I’ve wanted to make a replica of this cat. It looks like a simple and fun DIY project. A few supplies and some hand-sewing. Only thing is…TIME. I guess that’s why this project has been delayed 2 years in a row. š
Here’s a DIY I did have time for this year— Tulle Pom Poms!
Here’s another look at our Halloween mantel. š
Since I had Thanksgiving items sitting around, I decided to add them to my mantel. See below photo. I have to say, I kind of like the “everyone at the party” look better!
With weeks before the end of October, I still have a number of home projects on my mind. You’ll read all about them soon. For this week, however, I think I’ll just concentrate on Halloween. š

We do a little bit of decorating outside. I love your mantle though!
What a scary cute Halloween mantel! I just love it š I don’t decorate for Halloween because we don’t celebrate it here. But my son loves the scary cartoons š
I love this, I wish I had a mantel! I just decorate my ladder shelf every season š
I love all holiday decorations, and the home made ones are the best that’s for sure. I love making things with my grandkids. They think their NaNee is cool! bwahahaha

I love your Halloween mantel.
The hand-sewn Halloween decor (cat) looked so cute! What materials did you use to make it?
I bought that cat but hopefully next year I’ll make a replica. Looks like you only need fill, beads for weight, buttons for eyes and fabric.
I think it looks amazing! And I love the banners, nice touch!
I don’t do much decorating for Halloween. These are some cute ideas though.
Looks adorable! Love the pom poms!

That’s lovely! I started collecting too, last year, after they were on clearance. LOL! Hopefully I’ll be able to make something like that.
I love how you decorated the mantle. We decorate for Halloween every year. We like to make glowing eyes in our trees out of toilet paper rolls and glow sticks.
So cute! I have a mantel but I’m lucky if I get around to decorating it for Christmas! Looks great.

Those are really nice Halloween decors. I’m sure it would add a spookier feel on Halloween.
I wish I had a mantle to put this together. This is one thing, I miss about having a house instead of an apartment. This will be bookmark for when I moved into my house in a couple of years.
