Today’s the big reveal of my Spa-Inspired Guest Bathroom Makeover and I’m so excited to share this completed space with you all! Thank you to many of you lovely readers for your sweet and encouraging comments throughout this 6 week process. Some of you who know me, have commented about how much you enjoy these home makeovers on my blog. Please know how much it means to me that you’re following along and are as excited as I am when reveal day arrives!
The “After” Photos
.
I love how our new wall cabinet keeps toiletries organized and out of sight. I had the original handles replaced with chrome ones I purchased from my local home improvement store.
.
A closer view of the decor on the shelf.
That’s the statement I’d use to describe these years of creating a family and home with my husband. š Good things come from patience, determination, and dedicated hearts. Rome wasn’t built in one day. So shouldn’t our homes! Enjoy the process and not just the end results.
.
Did you know that soap can be used as decor? These packaged ones are perfect for overnight guests.
More things in pretty packages.
.
Love how these lotion tubes look on top of our new toilet.
.

.
So many interesting and fun details in this view.
.
.
Whenever I can, I try to create artwork for my room makeovers. I love quotes and wall signs so I decided to create something our guests would appreciate.
.
PEONIES. Need I say more? The bright blooms are gorgeous and our guest bath smells incredible right now!
.
Somehow I managed to find the perfect sized orchid for our vanity counters. Love the vase as much as I love the actual orchid.
.
Can I tell you how much I still love our bathroom floor tiles? We purchased them from a tile specialty shop when we first renovated our bathroom 7 years ago.
.

Here’s another hand painted sign I created for this space.

SHOWER AREA
The view of our shower from above. I may or may not have been standing on our sink to get this shot! š
Can you spot what’s real and what’s faux-fabulous??
Handmade soap on top of fresh leaves from our yard. I…couldn’t…help…myself. #HomeStylistForLife
Look who’s paying a visit to our shower?
It’s Roxie, our 14 year old cockapoo who still looks like a puppy! She can finally take showers in our guest bathroom now that we have a handheld shower head.
Off Topic: Why are pets so photogenic? Do they ever take a bad photo? I have yet to see one!
Oh, look who’s already “singing in the shower!” š
What’s a spa-inspired bathroom without some mood lighting?
Congratulations for reaching the end of this post! This was definitely a lot of work to squeeze everything into 1 reveal post. I’ll be creating a separate SOURCE post for all the items featured in this makeover.

Your bathroom looks really beautiful. You have done a great job with the decor. In order to give it a more spa like feel you could have placed a Himalayan salt lamp in there. This lamp is so beautiful and gives off a very warm glow. It isalso very good for the health and gives a spa like feeling at home.
