I’m happy to kick off summer by joining blogger friends of mine in a special “Garden Tours and Outdoor Spaces” blog hop! It’s no secret that my family and I practically live outdoors during the summer. How incredible is it that our living space immediately doubles once summer hits? 🙂
I’d like to start this tour with a photo of a garden flag I picked up at Lowe’s recently. Isn’t this sign the cutest? I love flamingos as much as I love pineapples … as summer motifs!
Here’s a shot of our little piece of paradise in our backyard. This will be the second summer that we’ve had our inground pool. You can read more about how we replaced our former above-ground pool with an inground here.
These arborvitaes were planted almost 2 years ago. I’ll need another 5 years for them to grow into one another. I cannot wait to see a wall of greenery! 🙂
This coral-colored metal chair is a recent new purchase of mine. I love how it provides a pop of color near our pool.
Nothing like some inflatable donut floats to sweeten the look of the pool area. 😉
Whenever we have guests over in the summer, we typically dine by the pool. Can you believe we’ve had this dining table and chair set for 12 years now? It’s from Home Depot’s Harbor Breeze collection.
By the way, I’m still loving my coral and white, striped patio umbrella from Ballard Designs. At 11 feet, it pretty much covers everyone sitting in this dining area. Note: Affiliate links are provided below for convenience. For more info, see my full disclosure here.
Here’s one of my favorite sitting areas in our backyard. I purchased this set from Wayfair last summer. Surprisingly, it still looks brand new. Guys…I’ve officially jinxed myself now …
Another outdoor spot I enjoy is our upper patio deck. You may recall the big makeover I did in this area. Can you tell that I love tropical and Moroccan elements?
Before I close this post, I’d like to share the NIGHT TIME photos of our backyard. I love being outside at night when all the string lights are on.
There are multiple color options in our pool’s LED lights. There’s even a “disco light” option. 😉

Oh my goodness Tee, your outdoor space is amazing! I’ve been wishing for a pool for years, but I think I’ll have to wait until our next home to take advantage that. What a treat to have one yourself, lucky lady!
