We’re at the home stretch with just ONE week away from the completion of this fall’s One Room Challenge, hosted by Calling It Home. Normally at week 6, I’d be revealing my finished space but with the 1 week extension provided, I’m able to procrastinate take my time styling Lauren’s bedroom. 🙂 If you’ve missed any of my updates on Lauren’s Hipster Chic Bedroom Makeover, you can catch up on previous posts here:

Let me begin today’s post with sharing some of my favorite decor items for Lauren’s new bedroom. When shopping for decor pieces, World Market is one of my “Go To” places. It’s not hard to find the perfect pieces to go with any decor style that you fancy. With the themes of Boho and Chic, I had plenty to choose from at World Market.
This diamond mirror jewelry hang in antique gold was one of the decor items that I ordered online. A mirror and jewelry holder all in one? I’m all over that. 🙂
Here’s a peek at the little gallery wall I did near Lauren’s bed.
Notice that cute 3-D looking cactus wall art at the bottom? It’s part of this trio set that I ordered through World Market.
Okay, drumroll please for MY FAVE decor piece for Lauren’s Hipster Chic Bedroom Makeover.
This gold bar cart from World Market is absolutely gorgeous! Let’s just say, I must’ve said “Oooh…wow” a dozen times after I removed the packaging. The gold frame was exactly the shade of gold I love…A beau-tee-ful matte gold sheen. Eye hearts all over. 🙂
One of the main reasons why I chose this bar cart is because of its compact size. With Lauren’s small (9 ft by 9 ft) bedroom, none of the furniture pieces can be big. With 3 tiers, this bar cart can store a variety of items.

Speaking of furniture, there’s going to be one furniture piece noticably missing from Lauren’s new bedroom.
A DRESSER.
Since the beginning of this challenge, I decided that I’d be skipping a dresser in Lauren’s bedroom. Right now, her bedroom closet is really all the storage that she needs for her clothing. Having a big, bulky dresser in Lauren’s bedroom will just take away from her bedroom. I want some space for her to play with her toys. You’ll see next week! 😉
Here’s just a few more PEEKS before next week’s full reveal.
Wall Art
I made my own printable quote. Still loving these handcrafted picture frames, made in India.
Woven Wall Hang
I found the perfect wall hang for Lauren’s new room! Here’s a peek at the colors and details. They match perfectly with Lauren’s new bedding and throw pillows.
Ceramic Cup/Trinket Holder
This cup is a lot bigger than I expected and that’s a good thing! It’s super adorable and as you can see, I’ve already put it to good use. It’s all about the succulents baby. 😉

All the details are coming together beautifully! I love the planter with the succulent!
I’m drooling over that bar cart too! I love the bohemian / glam combo you’ve got going on here. Happy last week of ORC!
Her new room looks like it’s coming along beautifully! Wonderful work!
I can’t wait for the reveal!!
Love all these details for the room!
I love all the accessories…especially the bar cart!
No dresser! What a GREAT idea!
Thanks, Michelle! A dresser (especially full size) would’ve taken over too much space in her bedroom. Her closet is all she needs right now for clothing storage. We may need to revisit that in her teen years though….LOL!
The details of the room are coming together so beautifully, Tee! Love the concept of using a bar cart as furniture/storage. Excited for your room reveal!
Thanks so much, Carol! Can’t wait to share the entire room and to see everyone’s reveals next week! Thanks for checking in. Xoxo
You have some really great accessory pieces for her room. I love that wall art mirror and the the bar cart that you are repurposing. Can’t wait to see it all come together.
Love that cute little planter!
