Today’s summer home tour is a continuation of my recent outdoor patio tour. If you read last week’s post, you will recognize a few photos here. A big “Hello” and “Welcome” if this is your first time visiting Beauteeful Living! Nothing like a home tour to get to know someone and their decorating style. Let’s just say cheery colors and bold patterns rule my world. On to the tour… 🙂
At our front door, you will see this Modern Rose Bloom Wreath that I recently made for summer. It was my first time making a wreath and I must say I’m quite pleased with the results. The process certainly wasn’t very complicated.
The living room couch pictured below is the one I’m always curled up against. We purchased this Rowe Furniture sofa over 10 years ago and miraculously, it has maintained its shape and form after all these years.
It’s All About The PINEAPPLE this season! They are everywhere. I love my new pineapple throw pillow.
Last month, my daughters had their dance recital. I’m so proud of how well they did along with their dance friends. In the photo below, you’ll see that I decorated our buffet table area with “recital” in mind. 🙂
The peonies you see are from our garden. I wish they bloomed all summer long!
In my living room, I have this floral chandelier hanging from the ceiling. This was such a fun project to do. It was actually featured on Good Housekeeping’s website!
Let’s now head to our dining area.
Coral and teal are my 2 all-time favorite colors. I guess you can tell from my dining room’s color scheme.
Don’t those napkins look like kitchen towels? Well, they are not… at least according to their label. 🙂
Nothing like creating a centerpiece out of things I already have at home — lemons from my fridge, some pine leaves from our tree out front, and a rose from our side yard.
How’s a glass of lemonade served in a pretty Lilly Pulitzer glass? 😉
Heading outside our dining room, you will come across this dining area overlooking our new inground pool.
I love sitting here in the morning, under our pergola. The view isn’t quite bad, I must say. 😉
Under our deck, we have an outdoor chalkboard. I dreamed up this little project several years ago when my daughters were younger. Anything to keep them entertained during the summer months! 🙂
Here’s a photo of the new furniture set we purchased for our backyard this year.  I purchased this Serta wicker conversation set from Wayfair just before summer started. The sofa and two armchairs (each sold separately) cost approximately $1,200. Judging from the quality of the materials used, this set was certainly a good purchase.
Besides the wicker conversation set, what really completes this sitting area is that coral and white striped umbrella from Ballard Designs. It’s an 11 foot patio umbrella with Sunbrella fabric that I ABSOLUTELY love! You can definitely tell the difference between this umbrella from other brands. The fabric is heavy and the aluminum frame feels solid.
Remember that decorating contest I won last February? Well, I used the $250 Ballard Designs gift certificate towards my new umbrella. I think I want to buy another one!
Here’s the focal point of our backyard —> our new pool with built in slide and waterfall.
My current favorite float in the pool. I prefer this over real donuts! 😉
Here’s the little sitting area we have for the kids. We still get so many compliments on this Pottery Barn Kids outdoor set. That kid-sized patio umbrella is too cute!
Here’s a night time view of our pool illuminated by the built-in LED lights. I think I’ll close this tour with this photo. 🙂
I hope you’ve enjoyed this year’s edition of my Summer Home tour. Please PIN and share this post. Thanks a bunch!

You have a beautiful home and I am in love with that wreath. Last year, I tried to make a wreath for every season and holiday, but I burnt myself out from doing it this year. Also, I found it hard to find storage for all those wreaths when I done so I just gave most of them away.
Oh yes it looks so summery and I love that. I am decorating my bathroom upstairs and I am into the pineapple look it’s beautiful. I need a pool though so I can get that donut
Your house is so pretty! I would be hanging by that pool ALL summer long!
